Best Automatic Vacuum and Mop Combos

The Narwal Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is among the most efficient combinations I've tested. Its base station comes with a large water tank and dustbin, and its dual rubber brush is less likely to cause tangles in hair than single bristles.

Its mopping efficiency is exceptional and its AI mapping is a success in the midst of obstacles. It is also able to stop its cleaning task and then resume where it was when it stopped.

1. Roomba Combo j9+

The Roomba Combo J9+ is an all-in-one robot mop and vacuum cleaner that is among the most sophisticated on the market. It comes with an elegant self-emptying Clean Base that can hold up to two full mopping cycles and is designed to look like a small table. It is also the only robot we tested with an onboard reservoir that automatically washes and replenishes the cleaning pads after every vacuum and mopping cycle.

The mopping arm is placed on top of the unit until it spots hard floors, then lowers to begin scrubs. It moves slowly and carefully over surfaces to ensure that it doesn't accidentally splash wet spills or mud on carpeted areas. It does a great job of staying clear of the way of furniture, cords, and other obstacles.

The iRobot Home App is smarter than other robot vacuums. It allows you to customize the settings of your vacuum and also prioritize rooms according to dirtiness, schedule cleaning time and more. The app comes with detailed maps of your house with seasonal suggestions, custom cleaning routines, as as intuitive smart-home integrations.

This robot vac/mop uses iRobot’s Imprint Smart Mapping Technology to identify objects like tables, sofas, and counters. It can be controlled using Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri making it simple to keep your home clean.

The Roomba J9+, unlike other vacuum and mopping robots, creates the map of your home 7x faster than the previous models. It also categorizes each area in accordance with the floor type so that it will always be aware of the area you want to mop or vacuum. It also features a new Turbo Mode which boosts suction power for those tough spots. With iRobot's Dirt Detective, it will learn about your habits of cleaning and adjust the cleaning priorities and settings for the most soiled areas of your home.

2. Yeedi M12 Pro+

The Yeedi M12 Pro+, with its user-friendly app and top-quality features, is a strong rival in the world of automated mop and vacuum robots. Its powerful suction power and advanced mopping technology make it the ideal cleaning partner for smart homes. Its smart automation and affordable price make it an excellent option for families on a budget.

Download and open the Yeedi App and follow the steps on screen to connect the M12 to your Wi-Fi Network. Once connected, you'll be asked to give your robot an individual name. It's important to note that the M12 supports 2.4 GHz networks only.

The M12 offers several different cleaning modes for mopping and vacuuming. Its intelligent design allows it to map a room in less than six minutes and alter its cleaning path accordingly. Its advanced mopping features include two spinning pads, with electronically controlled water as well as a "True Edge Adaptive Edge Mopping System" that ensures thorough cleaning of all floor edges.

In terms of navigation in terms of navigation, the M12 uses LiDAR, IR, and 3D structured light to avoid obstacles. Its sensors are good at finding larger objects, like HVAC vents and furniture. However, they struggle with smaller objects, like cables and small rags, which can cause the robot to miss certain spots.

The M12 is also able to detect and navigate up stairs thanks to its built-in inclinometer. It also returns automatically to its OMNI Station to wash and dry mop brushes and refill its water tank. If its batteries are low the OMNI station can even automatically empty the trash bin and clean itself.

3. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra is the cutting-edge in robot cleaning, packing an incredible amount of features into an elegant package. It has the highest mopping capacity, a camera for enhanced obstacles to avoid and a powerful vacuum that has the ability to detect the carpet it is stepping on. It also comes with advanced intelligence and voice assistant features.

It's a powerful mop and vacuum cleaner. It was able to cover our 1,500 square foot test area within 101 minutes, before the battery ran out and it returned to its dock. The mop is washed between use, which reduces maintenance costs and helps keep the pads clean.  robot vacuums reviews  when a mop pad becomes dirty and initiates a wash cycle.

The S8 MaxV Ultra, like its predecessors has an intelligent system that can recognize household items like shoes and pet waste by using cameras and LIDAR. It was a great performer in our test of obstacle avoidance with just one minor glitch during my tests (it got stuck unwinding a wool ball that was caught in its brush arm).

The S8 MaxV Ultra has a new suction capacity of 10,000pa, which is nearly twice the power of its predecessor. This makes it an excellent choice for homes with carpeting in abundance and varying kinds of flooring. The vacuum can be set to automatically increase the suction as it passes over crumbs or dust.

Similar to the previous models, multiple docking stations can be set up to make it easier to clean and mop process. It is also possible to connect to the plumbing in your home with a specialized dock that drains and refills the water tank automatically when it's done.

This helps the X40 Ultra receive one of the top scores in our assessments of obstacle avoidance.

5. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is an extremely powerful vacuum and mop combo that has been designed to be user-friendly. The gunmetal base station fills up its own tank with clean water, empties the dustbin into a smaller container and washes and dries its own mop pads in between cleaning sessions. It comes with advanced features that let it switch between carpets and hard surfaces, and remove pet hair from carpets and clean high-level thresholds in rooms.

The S1 Pro's navigation and mapping capabilities are top-quality, with the dToF LiDAR system in the internal unit allows it to keep an unobtrusive appearance while delivering top-notch object avoidance. It can drive close to walls and avoid steps without crashing. It also raises the mop automatically when driving on rugs or short-pile carpets. It struggled a bit when it encountered longer-pile carpets, and there were a few large, thick mess of dried-on debris.

Like most robots that are available, the S1 Pro comes ready to come out of the box and needs only a quick initial mapping run to figure out how it can navigate your home. The map will be displayed in the app and you can join or add rooms as needed. You can also set up virtual boundaries areas, no-go zones and no-mop areas if you don't want the robot to touch certain objects.

The S1 Pro does a great job of removing messes from hard floors due to its rotating mop head that puts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability to vacuum and mop is a great option for homes that have different types of flooring, but its reliance on a Eufy brand cleaning solution (which is included in the box) could make it less flexible than some other robots that let you create your own solutions.
