If you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that will clean up dust and dirt on your floors while taking care of wet mess, then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered mop and robot vacuum combo comes with a strong suction force of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery capacity to power both vacuuming and mowing and top-quality obstacles-avoiding. It comes with a roller-mop that is self-cleaning and makes it stand out among other models that require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. As with most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was fast to map a room and it was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a couple times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my tests, but this may be improved when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum, and it still offers some impressive features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it moves. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is ideal for removing pet hair and debris on carpets.
The software that runs the appliance is quite complex, with a broad range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start an entire map and clean of everything mapped by the device, or you can select individual rooms, expandable zones or even a routine that you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mop to map the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
The Qrevo performed well in our tests, just like all the Roborock models that we've test. Its navigation system is reliable, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic manner. Its "Normal" pathing setting covers the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, but it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets with thick padding, but might not be able to detect smaller objects such as electrical wires or rug tassels.
This device has a major flaw: it does not include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who regularly vacuum before using their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app has an option that lets you "clean up" at the conclusion of every vacuuming session.
